Urban Kindness

I made this comic in 1991, under the influence of A. Pazienza‘s work (note the badge that the main character wears on his suit) At that time I was a bus rider, and a militant of Sciattoproduzie, an art collective (note the heart shaped symbol in one of the last pages). Line 280 still exists, the post office is near Piazza Mazzini, in Rome. For a better display, I cut the original pages in two. I must be honest, I also changed the final: in the original comic the Hero and the Techno Addict were not partners. Link to this article

Un buon inizio / A fresh start

Questa è la prima vignetta del Visual Running Log, che potete vedere anche nella versione originale sul sito di Rifondazione Podistica. – This is the first entry of my Visual Running Log, originally posted on my team’s website. The track was muddy after a hard rain. AM, Villa Pamphili. No GIN, 2+1 km. (L+4’26), STR, 1600+400 (4’13+L), R, 1km 4’23, R, 1km prog. 4’07, 2km L, STR.

The Original Plant

I’ve already used this comic for a flash animation, but I think the original version deserves a post. I made the drawings during summer of 1990, while Saddam was invading Kuwait. It’s a little bit cryptic, but if you find the key it melts down easily. Link to this article

Nuts 'n' Bolts

This is a very silly comic made about twenty years ago, just to study the technique. I even dared to use some Letraset patterns. Link to this article

About Nature

I made these drawings twenty years ago. It was a very productive period, I was trying to develop a personal style (maybe too much “overloaded”). There was a lot of pencil and pattern overlap. I still use some of the “pop art” patterns. Few months later I made “Little Kittens“. Thanks to Miki B., the girl I made the drawings for. Link to this article

Capitan Bavastro

Along with my partners F. and C. Perilli, I designed an eight storey residential building in Rome. Concrete structure was completed in july 2010. Design team included Enrica Vatteroni and Genny Terzulli. Together we made a navigational system that shows the whole building by means of panoramic renders and animations. Below are some static renders. Link to this article
